Start from birth:
NICU book
gifting program.

At Literacy for Kids, we believe the love of reading starts on day one. That’s why we’ve launched a new initiative in partnership with Henry Ford Health, to gift a baby’s first book to every family in their NICU and birthing centers.

We’ve already purchased 1,500 books for 2025, part of our annual commitment to reach thousands of families. Each book becomes a baby’s first story, a moment of comfort, bonding, and imagination.

With Your generous support you will help us reach more families and inspire a new generation of readers.
